After working full-time through the summer months,&nbsp;Allison's mentor and senior principal scientist, Cathy Condie, asked her to stay on during the school year.&nbsp; ...  "Just the presence of a high school student is fun, they bring a different energy to the group, a different perspective, the questions she asks are very insightful and also kind of get us to think differently." ... The year-long series of classes cover First Aid, CPR, Responding to Emergencies, First Responder, CPR instructor, and EMT certifications. ...  These classes will challenge students, giving them much needed experience if they are headed into the medical world.    It is also a great  way to test and see if you are interested in the medical field.</font></p><p align="left"><font color="black">OEC is part of Osseo's Health Science Magnet Program.    As part of this program, Osseo also offers Human Med science classes, Bioethics, Human Med Health, Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide, and Pharmacy Technician (online).</font></p><p align="left"><font color="black">The OEC program includes unique, intensive opportunities including Fall and Spring camps, State Competition, and providing training and medic coverage for outside groups.
