November 13-17, OEC Interns (second year students)
put on a week of free CPR classes. The ten interns
were able to train 59 people, both OSH students and
community members, in Adult CPR, Adult Choking, and
AED.

At the end of October, 60 students spent five days at
a camp for intesive hands-on training. Together with
the Spring Lake Park OEC studnets, they participated
in simulated emergencies and classes ranging from
self defense to firefighting. By the end of the week
at camp, students returned home with skills and
knowledge as well as bolstered self-confidence and
understanding.
