Welcome to Osseo OEC
OEC is a high school program that teaches junior and senior high school students emergency medical skills. The year-long series of classes cover First Aid, CPR, Responding to Emergencies, First Responder, CPR instructor, and EMT certifications. These classes are available to all students, both those in the district and out. Classes are two hours long and build on each other throughout the year. These classes will challenge students, giving them much needed expereince if they are headed into the medical world. It is also a great way to test and see if you are interested in the medical field.
OEC is part of Osseo's Health Science and Technology Focus. As part of this focus, Osseo also offers Human Med Biology, Bioethics, Human Med Health, Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide, and Pharmacy Technician (online).
The OEC program includes unique, intensive opportunities including Fall and Spring camps, State Competition, and providing training and medic coverage for outside groups. For learn all about OEC, please check our About page.
