What is a Moulage
What is a Moulage?

Moulaging involves the use of fake blood and make-up to simulate wounds to be treated in training scenarios. The moulaged victims usually act the part according to the situation and injuries. Other simulated emergencies will sometimes have victims not play the part. Some moulages are done as rotating stations that only have 1-2 patients. Others are set up as mass casualty incidents.

Moulages are done in our class, at the end of first aid classes we teach, and done several times during camp.
